filene's basement

Friday night I went over to Annie's house with Julie to watch the Sox game on their big TV. They won that game, it was very exciting. Then I went home to meet up with my sister and her husband, who were coming up to Boston for the weekend. Jay was planning to hang out with his friends, and Karen hung out with me. It was a nice, relaxing weekend. They arrived on Friday night around 11 PM. Saturday, I took Karen to Filene's Basement. She had never been to the Downtown Boston one before. She was psyched for it because everytime I wear something new that she likes, she asks me where I got it and I say, "Filene's Basement. Duh." Anyway, it ended up being a good day for her to go because they were having a sale. Extra 25% off all sale merchandise. Yup, that's right. The 25%, 50%, 75% off and then an extra 25% off on top of that. It was a zoo there. After, I took her to Taiwan Cafe for lunch and then we crashed when we got home. Shopping is tiring, and Karen's back hurt from carrying those heavy bags for so long.

Anyway, yesterday I went to get a haircut. You can't tell I got one, but it feels lighter to me. Besides that, I can't really remember what else I did yesterday until I worked on applications at 10 PM. It was probably fun.
