Anyway...

Writing about my life, but mostly about nothing. Expect drastic subject changes with the word "anyway."

I'm in NH, I'm in Maine

I had another great weekend. I like this trend of having such a fun and fulfilling social life, despite work sucking. This weekend, I went to NH to my roommate's family cabin in the woods of Milton, New Hampshire. There were seven girls total, and we basically vegged the whole weekend.

We got there on Friday night and it was pouring rain. So we arrived late and exhausted. But I was really surprised at how nice the cabin was. The only cabin I've stayed in was a small one my family rented when we went crabbing at the Chesapeake. This one was a real summer home with running water, electricity, and tons of beds. Inside it looked very loggy too. There were also tons of baby pictures of Jamie around. Wow, she's been going here a long time.

Anyway, I spent Saturday doing a puzzle with Erin and Nahir, my roommates and then lounging in a hammock outside. Some of the other girls were brave and swam in the lake, which was directly across from the house. Jamie's family also own a boat they use for waterskiing, but we didn't use it. On Saturday night, we walked across a wooden plank bridge into Maine and went to someplace called Everett Cove to watch a 60's cover band while eating ice cream. When we got back, we roasted marshmallows around a campfire on the beach and sang songs. Look at me, I really roughed it out in the wilderness!

That is not roughing it. *I* roughed it when I went to Creation and had to walk 2 miles to the showers.

When are you coming home to visit again?

I was being sarcastic. Coming home sometime this summer I guess. Not sure.
