So for the past week, there has been NStar construction on my street. The No Parking signs say that it's from 7:30 AM to 4 PM, but I can attest that they start at 6:45 AM. My room faces the street, and no amount of blankets over my head can drown out that jackhammer. Tukatukatukatuka.

So I'm back to life in Boston. Even though my winery vacation was so short, it was hard coming back to reality. I like escapes. That's probably why I like sleeping and eating so much. Hopefully, one day I'll feel like working out is an escape so I'll want to do it more.

Anyway, I have a question for you shopping ladies. I bought a "The Sak" purse at Filenes during their Memorial Day sale, and I already ripped the inside. I guess I put too much stuff in it. Can anyone suggest a brand that makes durable lasting handbags? I already know about Coach.

If anyone is wondering how OB's ankle is doing, it's much better. The swelling looks more like a pingpong ball now. You know how I said he'd be on crutches for 4-6 weeks? It took 2 days, and he ditched them. I bet they hurt his armpits.
