Anyway...

Writing about my life, but mostly about nothing. Expect drastic subject changes with the word "anyway."

Just call me Florence

I have to say, being OB's nurse isn't so bad. Last night, I made him dinner, and he didn't bitch about how slow I am in the kitchen. We were going at Christine's pace, ha! I like my pace, it's leisurely, and it makes cooking a joy rather than a task. I got home around 11:30 PM last night, and my roommate Erin was just serving brownie ala mode, yum! Lucky timing I guess.

Anyway, if anyone read my brother's comment on my last entry, you'd know my parents and my brother are coming to Boston to visit me over July 4th weekend from Sunday afternoon to Tuesday. So Tim, fun in your book is probably different from Mom and Dad. Here's what I was thinking so far: we could go watch the fireworks at the Esplanade, and we can also walk the Freedom Trail around Boston. Maybe get dinner at the North End or Chinatown. Anybody have any other suggestions?

Anyway, I was reading Evonne's blog (there's a link on the sidebar), and she posted a fun quiz, "What are the keys to your heart?" Apparently, because I want to have a tame polar bear, I'm afraid of marriage. Can anyone explain that to me? My rationale for picking the bear was that the other choices were all cats, and I don't like cats. But maybe deep down, I am afraid of marriage. Still, I don't get it, how does polar bears mean fear of marriage?

No freedom trail. I've done that like a zillion times. I would say to see if there's a drum corps competition in the area, but since finals are there this year, I think everyone's going to wait until August to go there. I would also be interested in a good concert, but there doesn't appear to be any Christian concerts that weekend. Wait, is the American Idol tour going to be in MA that weekend?
