Mrs. Darcy

I went to the gym every day of last week (Mon-Fri). That's a big deal for me. Let's see if I can keep it up for more than 2 weeks this time. I'm so diesel now from the weight lifting. I've become the jar opener in my house.

I had a great weekend with my roommates. On Friday, Nahir and I did foot soaks while watching A Walk to Remember. It was so therapeutic and my feet were so soft and fragant. On Saturday, I watched the old Lion, the Witch and Wardrobe. I made Chinese New Year cake, and Erin made scallion pancakes. It was fun watching bucktoothed Lucky say, "Nunununufuff." I have to say though, I never realized how over the top the White Witch was. She scared me as a kid, but as far as being a badass, she's not as much one as the new White Witch in the Disney version.

Sunday was even better. My roommates all went out for Nahir's birthday (2 weeks later). We went to Rosebud Diner for burgers. I even made them make me Disco Fries, yum. Then we went to Sacco's Bowl Haven. My name was Mrs. Darcy. Nahir chose it for me. I bowled awful at first, but got much better later in the game. I kept saying, "Mr. Darcy would be so proud." And then he'd walk across the moor, ahhhhh.
