It never ends
Although I'm joyously finished with the solid five months worth of business school applications, I still have so much applying to do. Btw, when I told Prathima's boyfriend I applied to 10 schools, he said I was his hero. He's applying to three. Anyway, lately I've been applying for marketing summer internships and scholarships. I also still have to prepare for a couple upcoming school interviews. And I have to fill out my taxes and FAFSA forms. Sigh, it will never end.
On the bright side, I'm still having a good time with my life. On Monday, I went to the movies with Julie. I arrived 45 minutes for a sneak preview of Firewall and a Q&A session with Harrison Ford, but it was already sold out for an hour. Don't people work?! Ok ok, so I was thwarted, so me and Julie decided to see Brokeback Mountain. It was a good drama, and I can see why it's so critically acclaimed. There wasn't much of a story, but the acting was excellent. My favorite part of the movie was when Julie cried. Haha, just kidding Julie.
Tuesday was my sewing class. I'm almost done making my skirt. Afterall, it is only three pieces. My teacher said I can start another project if I want. I'm considering making pajama pants. Wouldn't that be cool? It'll be more homework for me, but I think I should get maximum guidance from my teacher while I'm still in the class. Last night wasn't that interesting. I wrote an essay for a fellowship I'm applying to. But I felt like I accomplished a lot when I was done.
