Why yai yai yai

I saw my college roommate Rusha this weekend for her birthday. And now that I'm writing about it, I was just remembering something funny. You know that song "Sandy" from Grease? I used to sing "Rusha why yai yai yai" as a joke because she liked that movie. And there was this one time I was lying on the top bunk and she was on the bottom bunk, and I was trying to wake her up by singing this song.

Anyway, it turns out that she moved back to this area again. She is attending law school at Franklin Pierce. I would've had no idea had I not run into Prathima, Rusha's best friend, at Banana Republic a couple weeks back. She told Rusha's boyfriend to add me to the evite to Rusha's birthday. It was really nice to see them both again. It's been years since I last hung out with them. There were a lot of people there. We all had dinner at the Elephant Walk and then went clubbing at Caprice.

I also spent some time this weekend with my current roommate Nahir. Jamie was away on a ski trip with her boyfriend, and Erin was with her boyfriend. So oftentimes, it's just me and Nahir. We went to see The Family Stone on Friday. It was an endearing movie, except for some sketchy manuevering at the end. If you want to know what I'm talking about, read www.themoviespoiler.com.
