Long weekend
I had a four day weekend last weekend. Friday was a flex day and Monday was a holiday. On Friday, I prepared food for the Yankee Swap. Then me and Nahir went to see Pride and Prejudice. I loved the scene where Mr. Darcy is striding across the moor. Sigh.
Saturday was my apartment's annual Yankee Swap. There was a good turnout. About 30 people squeezed into our little living room. I must say, the presents were better this year. And of course, the food was awesome. Go roommies! After the Yankee Swap, most people took off, and I went to a Junior League party at the Good Life with Carol and Julie. The Junior League is a women's organization, so it was just like a Wellesley party. Sunday and Monday I went over to OB's old apartment to watch 24 with the guys on the big screen. Awesome, that's all I got to say. You must watch this show. Monday nights for 20 more weeks. Hell yeah. 24 fans check this clip out. I got it from Ben. http://www.transbuddha.com/index.php/buddha/kiefer_goes_crazy_for_calorie_mate/
Last night I also had dinner with Julie at The King and I in Beacon Hill. The food was good, but some old guy at the next table was talking really loudly, which annoyed me. Julie was amused and kept trying to eavesdrop.
