Good news/bad news
Ok, I have good news and bad news. Let's start with the bad news. I took my stats final yesterday, and it bit. I studied so hard, and when I got home, I cried and felt like an uberfailure. If I don't get a B, I lose out on my reimbursement money. So I'm quite nervous.
And now, the good news. I got into the University of Wisconsin. You know what they means. I'm definitely going to business school. Not necessarily Wisconsin, but I'm going somewhere.
Anyway, I had a nice weekend, pretty lowkey. Aside from studying for my final, I watched White Christmas with Erin and went caroling with my church. Caroling was fun, it's been years since I did it. We visited several of our church's shut-ins, including one woman who is 101 years old! I shook her hand. It was really soft and warm and she squeezed my hand pretty hard for someone who looked very fragile.
I'm done with Christmas shopping. Make it stop! I'm broke. Haha, seriously though, I've been spending way too much money buying stuff for me. I have to force myself to stop. Thankfully, I'm booking this week working on applications and meeting up with friends to give them their gifts. Yesterday I met up with Annie and Ivan. I got her the Rent soundtrack for the movie, which we saw together. She got me the nicest gift. She got me a box of chocolates and two hot cocoa tins. I love cocoa! Some people are coffee people, some people are tea people, but I'm definitely a cocoa gal. Very thoughtful gift, thank you Annie.
