Happy Thanksgiving

I'm back in Boston after the holiday weekend. I must say this year has been quite different. For one, I didn't shop on Black Friday. What a shocker! I went to my sister's place in Hoboken for Thanksgiving dinner again. Her husband cooked, and I chipped in by making candied yams, yum. Then the family played board games. I was a little bummed because most of my vacation was spent in Hoboken. The one day I was in my parents' house, I spent it making my pop up book for my NYU essay. I'm done with the pages, and I'm going to bind the book tonight. I'm sad that I won't get to keep it, but if I get in, it'll be worth it.

I tried to see Dirty Rotten Scoundrels on Friday, but was once again thwarted. I went to TKTS and was psyched to see 50% off tickets, but unfortunately, we arrived too late and there were only 2 seats left, and they weren't together. Plus there was three of us. I think I'll try again in December.
