Anyway...

Writing about my life, but mostly about nothing. Expect drastic subject changes with the word "anyway."

This is what I signed up for

Last night at midnight after studying for four straight hours, I sent an email to my boss and about 5 admins saying I was not going into work today. I needed more time to study for my stats test. There's way too much material to study, and there's only 5 freaking questions on the test. So I studied for about 4 1/2 more hours today. The test wasn't too bad, and I'm really glad that I prepared for it. So we'll see what happens.

In happy news, I visited OB in Wisconsin last weekend. Seeing him helped me get over missing his attention. He showed me a really good time. On Saturday he took me to see the Badger's last football game. They lost and I was freezing my butt off in the rain and cold without a coat, but I still had an awesome time. I also got to meet his clique consisting of Justin and Jerrod (Bortz). They were very guy's guys. Not really into the fingers wave or the "hhhhiiiiiiii" thing I like to do. Oh well. Anyway, I had dinner with them at Essen Haus, which was a German restaurant very popular with the students. The wait staff wore traditional German garb, and there was an oompa band. Frau Mills and Frau Klett would've been proud. Sunday we went to a cheese shop (I got Colby and Muenster) and then to see Wallace and Gromit. It's been a while since I've seen a movie without popcorn. On Monday before I came back to Boston, I met with the business school admissions people again. I got a mini-tour of the business school and learned more about the program. I don't think it'll be such a bad thing if I ended up there. They offer project assistantships, so if I get one, I'll basically get my tuition paid for and get a stipend...kinda like a PhD deal, but as a masters student.

Anyway, one more exciting thing I have to share from my trip. O'Hare airport had the coolest toilet seat covers. They're covered in plastic, and you wave your hand in front of a sensor which moves the plastic to new plastic, so you get a new toilet seat cover. It was very cool! I actually felt good about sitting on the toilet seat.
