No Rent

As some of you know, I subscribe to Lucky, Time, Glamour and Us weekly magazine. Glamour advertised a preview screening of Rent to be held last night in Loews Harvard Square. I got there 45 minutes early and the line for Rent was around the block. Plus I was surprised to see tons of guys in line. Since when did guys read Glamour?! It turns out Glamour overadvertised for the showing, and people started lining up at 3:30 in the afternoon. I got there at 6:15. They let the first 200 people in. We were about 20 people behind the first 200 and so we had to leave. I was really sad because I was looking forward to it all day. Plus, I'm a loyal Glamour reader, dammit! Annie, Molly and I went to dinner after that. We tried Phat Boys, a new American restaurant in the Square. It wasn't bad.

After Annie and I went to my house to watch "How I Met Your Mother." Watch this show! We got to my house slightly after 8:30 PM, and I insisted we wait to watch at 9 PM when my VCR finishes taping it. So we played Donkey Konga instead. Jamie also joined us for videogames. Muhahaha, i'm going to convert all my friends to like stuff i like. Muhahaha.

In other news, I am a voter on tvshowsondvd.com. I voted for and have been waiting for Brisco to come out on DVD, and I read an article that it's being strongly considered for 2006. Woohoo!! It's actually the show with the 3rd most votes on the website. It only lasted one season on TV, but I loved it. If you're a voter on the site, please vote for the Adventures of Brisco County Jr.
