Bummer
I've been pretty crabby the past few days, and I'm blaming it on hormones. Anyway, I ate and slept like crap all weekend, so maybe that had something to do with it. I cheered up some last night while I was IMing with a college friend of mine who I haven't talked to in a while. We weren't talking about anything cheerful, but I think reconnecting with a friend made me feel better. Having said that, I really miss my girlfriends. It's not that I haven't hung out girlfriends recently, but I think I need some substantial girl power to lift me up.
This past weekend was pretty low key. It was a nice break from all the craziness of the past few weekends, and I probably would've appreciated it more if I were sleeping better. I saw OB some and even did some work for work. I also watched a few movies that I got at the library: Stand by Me, Finding Neverland and Fast Times at Ridgemont High. I have to say, I really really liked Stand by Me. It reminded me of a dramatic Goonies, which I also saw recently. I was really moved by the friendship between Gordy and Chris. Also, seeing River Phoenix made me a little sad. I guess I kind of see him as Chris, and Chris was such a great character. Great friend, great leader and yet so vulnerable. I highly recommend this movie. I thought Finding Neverland was a little slow at times, and Fast Times was on speed. Fast Times was similar to Dazed and Confused..no plot, just a bunch of high schoolers doing stuff. Not my favorite type of movie because I love good plots, but it was fun because it was so 80's.

I thought about renting Finding Neverland. Isn't Robin Williams in that?

Nope, it's Johnny Depp. Robin Williams is in Hook (which we own!)
I think you'd find finding neverland boring too.
