Char in Chicago

The last two weekends were really fun. Two weekends ago, I went to see Spiderman 3 with some people from school plus OB. Save your money, the movie was ridiculous. Unless you like special effects. On the bright side, Kirsten Dunst was less annoying than usual. I'm still glad I went to see it though because I was excited to see it. However disappointed I am, I would've kept being excited to see it even though I've heard how bad it is. It was a disaster though, at least I wasn't bored. Anyway, the next night OB and I went over to Pete's for dinner. His fiancee Chadsey cooked an excellent meal for us. Very tasty seared tuna. The presentation of the food was very professional looking. Afterwards, the group of us played board games. OB and I did well in Scrabble. I even contributed some words, and I'm terrible at the game. Then we played Cranium girls vs. boys. The girls won, yay! It's interesting how I've transitioned to enjoying more grown-up forms of entertainment like dinner parties. No more clubbing and getting groped for me. Although...I do miss clubbing with Julie.

Last weekend, Char and his girlfriend Emily came to Chicago for vacation. I'm glad they were here because I had a great excuse to do touristy stuff. Of course, the vacation was very centered around food. We ate bagels (Char loves these), Greek food, Pho, deep dish pizza, and El Barco Mariscos. I also took them to the Sears Tower, Lakeshore Drive, Millennium Park, the Museum of Science and Industry (while I was at class), and an architectural boat tour. It was a beautiful weekend, tons of sun, and Emily's nose turned bright red. Here's one of my favorite pics: Char at El Barco Mariscos.
