Cheap Sushi thwarted again!

Tonight I tried to eat at House of Sushi and Noodle again. This is the third time I've tried. They have an awesome all-you-can-eat deal for $14. Alex and I were going to meet up for dinner on the late side, so I figured I'd try again. We got there at 9, and the wait was still 40-60 minutes! I couldn't believe it! So we went to another place instead: Tokyo 21. Super trendy, but the rolls were tasty and they gave me a lot of fish. So I would go back. I'm still really disappointed that I was thwarted from HoSaN. One day...one day!!!

In other news, I've visited Lord and Taylor 5 days in a row last week. The one on Magnificent Mile is closing and everything is 50-75% off. (I just thought to post this because Annie mentioned Filene's Basement sale...sigh, i miss the basement). I bought 5 dresses at L&T. 3 are long formal dresses (when the heck am I going to wear those?), 1 a short cocktail, and 1 for work. I feel like such a princess in the formal dresses! I've been trying them on just for fun every few days. I know i don't really have the money to buy these, but when am i ever going to get to buy a $300 dress for $50?! And sometimes a girl just needs something to feel pretty.
