Sketchy frozen smoothies
Last weekend I went to Madison to visit OB. He was in Boston over Easter weekend, but since I went home, I missed him. I was really excited to see him and looking forward to the eating vacation he promised me. He delivered. While I was out there, I ate like a Middle America queen. We had fish fry, brats, burgers, and pizza. The last afternoon I was there, OB took me to another bar/restaurant and ordered a salad. A salad? A salad?! I ordered one too, but then had to have nachos, muhahaha. We also had fresh fruit smoothies twice from these street carts. And on top of that, ice cream from the on-campus joint. Last night OB accused me of thinking that eating like that is normal. I am a junk food fanatic, but come on, even I can admit when it's indulgent. Yes, I ate like crap this weekend, I can admit it like a big girl. But once in a while, it's called for. Afterall, eating like that made my weekend memorable.
Anyway, I'm supposed to go to two weddings this summer, and the plane ticket prices worried me. But on the way home in Chicago, they offered a voucher for people to delay their flight, and I took it readily. They booked me for the next flight three hours later, and gave me an exit row seat. And then, get this, she asked me how old I was. Don't you have to be 18 to sit in an exit row? I think she was embarrassed when I said 26. Ha!
