Anyway...

Writing about my life, but mostly about nothing. Expect drastic subject changes with the word "anyway."

Fun stuff

I made corned beef for the first time this weekend. I called my dad to see how he used to make it, and he usually cooked it with cabbage. I didn't have cabbage, so I turned to my trusty "Joy of Cooking." I used a glaze that was in the book, and it turned out awesome: brown sugar, soy sauce, paprika and ginger.

Anyway, Saturday night I went out for Scott's birthday. We went to the Bell in Hand, which is the oldest tavern in Boston (1795). There was a live band playing that night. They were playing cover songs, and I thought they were really good. Aside from all the drunk girls all over the lead singer, it was fun to watch. We stayed until almost closing. This afternoon, I went bowling with some friends. I haven't played 10-pin in so long. I did really well the first couple frames, but then the ball seemed really heavy after that. I didn't do so bad though: 113 and 131. My friend Carl did awesome. He got 4 strikes in a row and ended up with a score of 209. After a while, Julie and I got hyper and started posing for some risque photos and taking ass shots of everyone bowling. Good times.
