Anyway...

Writing about my life, but mostly about nothing. Expect drastic subject changes with the word "anyway."

I've got four eyes

As you can see from my last post, this weekend has been a very crafty one for me. I didn't do any sewing, but I made the lariat and some greeting cards. It was really fun, and I was concentrating so much, I didn't even realize I was tired. I found myself watching Harry Potter 3 until 3AM on Saturday night. So I finally pinned down my talent. I'm not great at designing things, but I'm good at assembling. I learned how to do wire twisting better from the store clerk at Spark, and I embossed with sticky powder for the first time. I also played around with my Versatool.

Other big news. I have four eyes now. Yup, I got glasses. But just for distance, so most of you will fortunately never see me in them. My eye doctor told me that my vision was decent, and I wouldn't need glasses if I didn't want them. But I figured that since I'm paying for the insurance, I should get them now before I go to school. They'll probably help with reading bad handwriting on the board too.

Anyway, Chicago GSB holds trips before orientation just for fun and to get to know your classmates. It's expensive, but I am considering going. The choices are: Alaska, Argentina, Belize, Brazil, Costa Rica, Fiji, Galapogos Islands, Honduras, Ireland, Peru, South Africa, Thailand and Turkey. Any advice?
