What to do?
Now that I'm done with the fellowship application, I've found myself with a lot of time on my hands. I just got through a long weekend. Friday flex day and Monday holiday. I'm glad I stayed at home, I needed a break. Two weekends ago, I was in NJ/NY, and last week I went to Chicago. I spent the weekend catching up with friends. I spent a lot of time with my roommates again. We went food shopping together on Friday. On Sunday night, I went to see a Looney Tunes show at the Brattle with Nahir, and on Monday, I made a deep fried feast with Erin. I also hung out with Annie, Carl and Aaron on Saturday at Ivan's birthday party. And then on Sunday I saw Julie and Carol at Julie's house for a Grey Anatomy party. Besides my roommates, I feel that I haven't seen or spent much time with my friends, so this was really awesome for me.
I'd like to dedicate this next paragraph to my lovely boyfriend OB:
Also saw a lot of great movies and TV. While finishing up making my skirt, I watched Mystic River. It wasn't exactly entertaining, but it was definitely well made. Pretty depressing, but thought-provoking and a lot of character development. The Looney Tunes show was fun. I had never seen Looney Tunes on the big screen before. Grey's Anatomy on Sunday was ok. I don't usually watch the show, but it was easy to pick up. The tone is a lot like Desperate Housewives. Why are there so many pointy girls on the show though?
Ok, so the title of this post isn't that accurate actually. I never lack of things to do. The next round of sewing classes starts in a week. Plus, I'm still looking for an internship. And finish up my taxes. I'm never bored.
