$1.69 burgers
Well, it's coming down to the last two weeks OB will be in Boston. So I'm trying to spend as much time with him as I can. If you're wondering why I've been MIA for a while, that's why. During his last few weeks in Boston, he's basically going to all his favorite places and hanging out with his friends and me. This past Friday, we went to Bukowsky's in Inman Square with Dan Dan and Lisa, where they have a large selection of expensive beer and $1.69 burgers until 8 PM on weekdays. The place is hardcore, they don't even advertise the burger deal. You just have to know about it. The food was great, especially the fries. We also had this yummy spicy cheese dip with tortilla chips. Afterwards, we stopped at Dan Dan's house and then headed to OB's to play board games. We played Settlers of Catan and Carcassone. I really like Settlers, I was thinking of buying the game, but I don't really know who I could play with.
Anyway, the next day, we hit another one of OB's favorite restaurants: Bombay Cafe, where they have $5.95 Indian buffet. It's far from Davis Square, but for old times sake, we went. After lunch, we went for a long walk through Back Bay and Chinatown. We stopped at the Public Gardens for a bit and sat on a bench. It was a beautiful day, and I was thinking what a pretty city Boston is. It really is.
On Sunday, I hung out with my roommates. I went to the mall with Nahir and then hung out with Jamie and Erin playing Crazy Taxi and then watching Anne of Green Gables. I'm glad that my roommates and I get along so well, I'm never lonely. Now if I could only teach them to play Settlers...
