Thwarted again

No new news, just that I was thwarted for a prize at trivia...again. Again, we were close and again, I smelt victory, but didn't taste it. Dang it dang it dang it! On the bright side, we played better than we ever have before. Going into the last round, we were in first place and ahead by 15 points. We did amazing on one of the bonuses: what are the first five spaces on a monopoly board? Not streets, spaces. And we got it! Then in the last round, we got all the answers for the regular questions, but the 50 point bonus was completely bullshit. The question was: is the hallux associated with a) neck b) foot c) pelvis. What the hell?! That's a total bullshit question. The winners would just be lucky guessers. The fact that there were less than 1/3 of teams to get the right answer just confirms that fact. uugh! I'm so frustrated, but I can't stay away. I love it, despite being close to tears last night.

On the bright side, I tried the new ice cream store next to the bar. I had pistachio ice cream, and it was so yummy. See, there's always a silver lining.
