Anyway...

Writing about my life, but mostly about nothing. Expect drastic subject changes with the word "anyway."

I'm not homeless

Ok, so a quick update on what's going on with me. I'm enjoying my summer internship. Not exactly what I thought it would be, but I think I just have to accept that's what corporate America is and will always be. This past weekend I went up to New Hampshire to see Jamie and Erin. We went up to Jamie's family cabin again in Milton. It was a blast again. I tried to waterski for the first time. Key word..try. I fell on my face three times and then was too tired to keep trying. But i got to drive the boat again. Got to put that NH boating license to good use. Went skinny dipping for the first time too...after being thwarted at my college reunion. Funny thing is that it wasn't even my idea.

Anyway, in other news, my recent housing situation just went from bad to worse. I'm living in a sublet this summer that I found on craigslist. My two roommates are recent college grads. When I moved in, one of them turns out to have a cat. So basically, I'm trapped in my room because she feels that putting the cat in her room is "cruel," and she doesn't want her room to smell like cat shit. It gets worse. Last Wednesday after I get home from work, they inform me that they're broke and are moving back in with their parents. So instead of living out their lease that was supposed to end on September 30th, they arranged with the management company to break the lease early on August 15th, which left me homeless. Btw, they both don't have real jobs and they eat out all the time, so I can tell them why they're broke. I'm not happy about being forced out, but I am quite relieved not to live with these bitches anymore. So I scoured craigslist and college websites for housing. Finally, tonight I succeeded. I'm renting out a room in a house, which is owned by two doctors. It's a beautiful house in a safe and affluent neighborhood, so I won't have to be scared of walking around. I'm glad everything worked out for me. Good riddance to those other girls. smell you later forever!
