starting new job

I'm sitting in the Towson Library right now because stupid Comcast's internet went down and now my house has been internetless for almost a week. I'm in the middle of my second week at my summer internship and it's been going well so far. I was actually pretty surprised at how similar my job is to my past jobs. Corporate America is all the same. Knowing this, I can't believe how hard it was to transition to brand management. Anyway, I like the company. I've gotten some good freebies and I'm going to check out the company store tomorrow. The work is pretty interesting. Instead of one big P&L project, I've gotten to do lots of little projects, worked with lots of different people, and different products. There's a lot of meetings in marketing too. Every day is definitely interesting with all the human contact I've had.

Towson is a pretty nice town. It's a suburb and has a pretty big mall. I went down to Baltimore yesterday and saw how ghetto that was and was thanking my lucky stars that I live in a neighborhood that's clean and safe. Last weekend I explored my town, and this weekend I'm visiting home. It's nice being on the east coast again.
